About the Ultra Shrimp Saltwater Fly
The Ultra Shrimp is used with great success in Cuba for bonefish and permit.
It is a very useful pattern that can transformed by changing the colour and or the size to match the naturals

Pattern Dressings
- Hook : Straight eye an of standard length.
- Thread : Tan.
- Forelegs : Tan ultra hair, pointing down.
- Under body : Tan thread.
- Body : Tan ultra hair.
- Eyes : Melted monfilament.
- Legs : Light ginger or badgered hackle palmered over head and trimmed on top.
- Antennae : Two extra long ultra hairs.
- Tail : Tan ultra hair.
- Back : Ultra hair from tail pulled forward, trimmed to a point over head and epoxied.
When building the body cock up the ultra hair a little and taper to a point, over which gold crystal flash can be added.
