About the Czech Olive Nymph Trout Fly

The Czech Olive Nymph has become increasingly popular over the past couple of years. It was originally created for use on rivers but is an excellent caddis imitation that works very well on stillwaters and reservoirs, especially around the margins and in the shallows.

It is ideal for big trout in deep holes and winter grayling sitting quietly hugging the bottom are often tempted by this tasty morsel.
