About the Oakden's Claret Trout Fly

The Oakden's Claret was created by Roger Woolly, author of 'The Fly Fisher's Flies', (1938) who honed his skills on the streams of Derbyshire.

He was an expert on both trout and grayling flies and throughout his 60+ years of tying flies he never used a vice.

This fly is best used on rivers and streams.
