About the Shadow Mayfly Trout Fly
The Shadow Mayfly has a unique style of it's own, combining the standard successful Griffith's Gnat with some small but elegant Mayfly wings.
Not your standard Mayfly pattern, but this different stance may be a key to it's success. It's ability to cast a solid shadow sitting on the waters surface, not only from it's body, but from it's towering wings makes this fly looks twice it's size (and twice as tasty) to any passing fish.
